This is a great set of books. You get sixe books for the price of about 2 or 3 separate books. I loved Clifford as a child and it's exciting that my kid shares the love. She finds a lot of delight in the simple stories and artwork because Clifford is such a loveable dog. The stories in this set cover a lot different aspects about daily life like taking a trip, visiting a firehouse, and going to school.I thought the box was unnecessary as the books are constantly coming on and off the shelf. It ended up in recycling bin.
What a great set! Comes in a nice box with a Velcro flap and as I recently discovered, Clifford remains a classic that toddlers seem to fall in love with right away. I remember Clifford from my childhood, so it's really heartwarming to read these books to my daughter now so many years later.
My son loves the books! They are a great read and I love the "Big Idea" aspect to the stories. These books are on the flimsy side. I suspect there will be a lot of damage to the cover and pages as we use them more. The books have a staple binding with a very thin sort of laminated cover. The carrying case is a fun addition.
The book set was purchased for my 5 1/2 year old. He is a huge fan of Clifford! He loves to carry his box set around to different rooms in the house as well as carrying it into the car do he can practice his reading skills. All the favorites are included in this story box collection!
A great collection for any Clifford fan. The box has a velcro opening. There are 6 or 7 books, that are all regular book size. These are not mini books or short stories; they're regular length books. It really does give a nice intro. to Clifford, and is perfect for toddlers and small children. My 2.5 yr. old loves these. Recommended!
I brought these for my 1 year old who loves Clifford - she has been watching the tv series and loves Clifford - these books are great starter books and the price is great. The container is also nice to keep all the books together and protected.
